Fuck yeah to the kids who feel like they’re dying inside but still gather up the strength to roll out of bed, get dressed, and leave the house. You are strong and beautiful and worth so much more than you know.

Say hello to mechanically separated chicken. It’s what all fast-food chicken is made from—things like chicken nuggets and patties. Also, the processed frozen chicken in the stores is made from it.
Basically, the entire chicken is smashed and pressed through a sieve—bones, eyes, guts, and all. it comes out looking like this.
There’s more: because it’s crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia, soaked in it, actually. Then, because it tastes gross, it will be reflavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color.
But, hey, at least it tastes good, right?
High five, America!

Almost a thousand people in West Africa die from ebola and nobody bats an eyelash, yet 2 white people in the US contract it and miraculously a cure is released and given to them because they’re an “extreme circumstance.” Satire is dead and real life is a dystopian hellscape
>.> no, no, no. What was given to them was an experimental serum. The reason why we couldn’t just take this serum and give it to Africans is because there are safeguards in place to prevent us from experimenting on those in poverty and who aren’t well educated. These ‘white people’ had to agree to be given this serum, which for all we know could have killed them. Can you imagine the hell the US would have gotten for giving an experimental serum to African natives, and having them die from it? International experimentation in poor areas is a big issue, because scientist could easily take advantage of these people. By having safeguards, it prevents individuals such as the Africans who are currently distressed and scared, from being taken advantaged of.
